Their Majesty the Koru, Willow I is announcing that a snap election will be taking place in December 2025.
Under the Constitution of the Hokorian State, I may dissolve the Assembly and call a snap election. I have consulted with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Assembly and have made the decision to use this power and will hold a snap election.
I am highly concerned by the lack of activity from the Assembly and am calling this new election to revitalise our legislature. I am also using this election as an opportunity to allow new people to become involved in our politics by allowing citizenship applications to register before their application is reviewed, and by resuming political party registrations.
Political party applications are open now and will remain that way indefinitely. Candidate registrations are open now and will close on December 15, 2025. Voting will commence on December 16, 2025 and will close on December 19, 2025.
The Assembly will not be dissolved until the completion of any business after December 8, 2025.
