The Marriage Statute, 2026 has been enacted by the Koru, permitting marriages to take place within Hokoria’s jurisdiction for the first time.
Under the law, two people aged 18 or over may get married subject to some restrictions.
The law also provides for marriages that took place abroad to be recognised within Hokoria and for married partners to get a divorse.
Following negotiation between the Koru’s Office, Foreign Office and Curnon’s Bureau of Foreign Affairs, Hokorian marriages are recognised within Curnon.
