Digital Hokoria manages domains on behalf of all Government ministries and organisations. Currently, there are two Government domains:
- hokoriagov.net
- govhok.uk
The hokoriagov.net domain
The hokoriagov.net domain is the primary domain of the Government, and is used by all Government ministries and organisations for web and email.
On the web
hokoriagov.net is the official website of the Government, connecting the Government to Hokorians across the world.
On email
hokoriagov.net is the domain used across all official email addresses of the Government, including individuals. We utilise ‘subdomains’ to help differentiate between Government ministries and organisations.
For example, Digital Hokoria uses the subdomain ‘digital’ in it’s official email addresses (‘@digital.hokoriagov.net’). Each Government ministry and organisation has a list of contact emails on their page.
Any emails from a Government staff member may come from a Civil Service email address- these will always use the subdomain ‘civilservice’ (‘@civilservice.hokoriagov.net’).
The govhok.uk domain
The govhok.uk domain is a domain of the former ‘First State of Hokoria’. It is not used by the Government, but is used to redirect to new content.
On the web
Going to the govhok.uk URL will redirect users to the hokoriagov.net service, instead.
