1.0- Temporary provisions
- Their Majesty’s Electoral Code is be the binding code that regulates elections, electoral procedures and other electoral matters.
- The Code is upheld in accordance with Executive Order #5.
- This Code is amendable by the Crown, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of the Hokorian State.
- It is the responsibility of the people who must abide by it to keep informed on any updates to the Code, and the responsibility of the Crown to notify the public of any updates to the Code.
- The Hokorian Assembly shall receive the notices, and updates of information, of Hokorian nationals who wish to be candidates in a general election.
- The full name and party details of all candidates shall be published by the Hokorian Assembly at its soonest possible convenience before an election.
- The Hokorian Assembly shall only recieve any notices and updates of information up until 16 hours before voting is set to commence.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall include the names and party affiliations of all candidates on the official ballot.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall publish the official ballot at its soonest possible convenience after voting was set to commence.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall ensure that the submission of ballots can take place only for 48 consecutive hours after voting commences.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall require all official ballots to contain the submitter’s full name, appropriate tracking code and email address.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall use Ranked Choice Voting on the official ballot.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall not contact any individuals regarding an already submitted official ballot.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall not share the way an individual has voted on an official ballot.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office may share official ballots without any personally identifiable information.
- Their Majesty’s Royal Office shall publish the results and data of an election at its soonest possible convenience.
