This website, hokoriagov.net, is an official service operated by Digital Hokoria for Their Majesty’s Royal Government.
The service has three primary aims:
- Connect the public to information from the Government
- Connect the public to Government services
- Allow the public to connect with the Government
How the service works
Most of the content on hokoriagov.net is created by Government ministries and organisations, and then published. Sometimes, Digital Hokoria may update or create content to be published to hokoriagov.net.
Government ministries and organisations are able to create content for hokoriagov.net using the page builder tool. The tool is available at https://hokoriagov.net/build/create (in order to view this page, the user must be signed in).
There are 4 types of pages that can be built:
- Information- a page containing general information about a topic
- News- a news release from a Government ministry or organisation
- Document- a document publication from a Government ministry or organisation
- Person- a biography page relating to a Government official
Anyone with a hokoriagov.net Build account may use the page builder tool, and submit a page for publication on hokoriagov.net. Every submission is reviewed by Digital Hokoria, and may be edited before publication.
Additional requests (deletions, amendments, etc) from Government ministries and organisations can be directed towards the hokoriagov.net project lead through private Government channels. Requests from the public, for deletion or amendment, are processed in accordance with the site’s Terms and conditions.
Delivering the service
We deliver information and tools to the public in collaboration with other Government ministries and organisations.
Under Hokorian law, we’re required to ensure that the content on this site is available in the English language. We also use machine translations to make the site available in other languages.
Additionally, we’re required to make certain information accessible at all times. This includes:
- Legislation
- Government contact information
In the case that any ‘always accessible’ information cannot be accessed here at hokoriagov.net, we will make provisions for it to be available elsewhere- such as at backup.hokoriagov.net.
