Diplomacy with the Hokorian State

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is open to diplomacy with nations across the world, including nations that have a lack of (or have limited) international recognition.

We believe that bilateral recognition is a key part of establishing diplomatic relations- we typically extend recognition to any states that we are interested in diplomatic relations with.

We further believe that diplomatic relations must be meaningful, worthwhile and professional.

Recognised states

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains a list of recognised nations. Please note that the list is not updated frequently.

Officials

His Excellency the Prime Minister, Christopher Slant, acts as the Hokorian State’s foreign minister and ambassador-at-large. He has the second highest representative capacity of the Hokorian State, after the Koru.

Who do I write to?

We generally ask that only corresponsence from heads of states and their offices are sent to the Koru. Any other corresponsence, including from citizens, should be sent to the Prime Minister.

You should contact the Prime Minister with:

  • Any correspondence involving Hokorian citizens abroad (including assistance, protection and legal affairs in coordination with local authorities),
  • Any correspondence involving international and regional organisations (including coordinating Hokoria’s participation, commitments and representation in multilateral settings),
  • Any correspondence concerning foreign policy, international cooperation or bilateral relations.

You should contact the Koru with:

  • Any corresponsence intended solely for the head of state.
