Congratulations from the Koru of the Hokorian State!
I extend my congrats to you on your successful application to be recognised as a citizen of the Hokorian State. With your new citizenship, my Government will work to represent you and provide services that benefit yourself and your fellow Hokorians.
Understanding your National Identification Code
On your notifcation email, you will have been provided with a National Identificaton Code (NIC). Think of it like a password- it unlocks Government services to you and is completely unique to you.
You’ll use this, along with your name and email address, to use any Government service. It allows the Government to know you really are you.
The NIC scheme is soon going to be replaced with MyHok, a more secure system that allows you to create an account with the Government in order to use services, and to vote.
Understanding your duties as a citizen
As a Hokorian, we ask that you follow, help to promote and work to uphold our national principles.
- Every person shall be given the opportunity to be welcomed into the Hokorian community as equals.
- Every person shall be given the power to make decisions that concern themselves.
- Hokoria shall be forever changing and adapting to the needs of its people and the environment that its people live in.
- Hokoria shall forever strive towards nurturing a peaceful society and encouraging a peaceful world.
- Hokoria shall forever be a place where fascism may never thrive.
- Hokoria shall forever be centred around its people rather than any particular individual or group of individuals.
And although you’re not required, we ask that you take part in our elections. These help keep democracy alive, and citizen involvement is key to everything the Government does.
Engaging with other Hokorians and with the Government
It’s easy to keep connected to your fellow Hokorians and with the Government. The WeAreHokoria Discord community is the best and easiest place to find other Hokorians, as an official platform overseen by the Home Office.
You can also find news from the Government there, as well as on other social media platforms. Follow us on Bluesky at @news.hokoriagov.net or on Twitter/X at @hokgov.
