The Hokorian State (or just ‘Hokoria’ for short) is a self-declared state (sometimes described as a ‘micronation’ to outside observers). We are located within the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. We were founded in April 2022.
Structure
We are a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy. Rather than using the title ‘King’, ‘Queen’ or ‘Monarch’, our head of state uses the title ‘Koru’.
The incumbent Koru of the Hokorian State is Their Majesty, Willow I. The office of the Koru is known as the “Koru’s Office“.
The government is known as the “Hokorian Government” (not the Government of Hokoria or the Government of the Hokorian State).
The government is led by an elected Prime Minister. The incumbent Prime Minister of the Hokorian State is His Excellency, Christopher Slant. The office of the Prime Minister is known as the “Prime Minister’s Office“.
Location and territory
We have two territories- Dama, which borders the British town of Yeadon, near Leeds and Serenia, which borders Hong Kong.
We do not excersise control over our territory, nor are we a violent secessionist movement. We claim territory ceremonially and claim to have sovereignty over it.
