Under the Constitution, it is possible to register a political party to run in general, snap and by-elections.
Eligibility
You may be able to register a political party if:
- You are a citizen
- You are aged 14 or over
- You are not already a member of a political party
Your registration must follow the Koru’s Office’s guidelines for political party registrations.
Process
The Party Registration Service allows people to register political parties with the Koru’s Office.
