At present, the Hokorian State does not have formal laws, registration systems or regulatory procedures for creating or operating a business. Due to this, individuals and groups are free to establish and manage their own ventures in whatever structure suits them best.
Setting up a business
You may form a business at your own discretion. At this time, there is no official registration process, no licences and no required documentation beyond what you and your partners choose to create. Most people rely on written agreements to set out roles, responsibilities and expectations.
Operating your business
Businesses are responsible for managing their own records, finances and internal rules. Day-to-day operations are self-regulated and owners are encouraged to keep clear documentation to avoid disputes.
While there are no dedicated business laws, all commercial activity must still comply with general national law, including any obligations relating to contracts, safety and lawful conduct.
Trading and payments
The Euro (€) is the State’s official currency, so we advise that all prices and transactions should be handled in Euros unless both parties agree otherwise. Private agreements can be made for alternative arrangements, but they are not formally recognised by the government.
