- In Article 2, Section 1 (“Replacing ‘lack of sexuality’ with ‘asexuality’ to provide clarity and use the correct terminology for the lack of sexuality”):
- Part 2 be amended to state “No person shall be discriminated against on the basis of their race, origin, language, religion, opinion, disability, sexuality, asexuality, sex, gender reassignment, disability or age.”
- In Article 5, Section 7 (“Replacing ‘snap election’ with ‘by-election’ to use the correct terminology for an election that takes place when a Councillor loses their seat when the Legislative Council is open”):
- Part 2 be amended to state “A by-election for the Legislative Council shall be held upon a Legislative Councillor losing their seat whilst the Legislative Council is open.”
- Part 3 be amended to state “Voting for either a general election or a by-election shall take place in a period of 48 consecutive hours.”
- Part 6 be amended to state “The Koru shall not share the details of a ballot submitted for a general election or a by-election, including the fact that a person submitted a ballot at all, except for where a ballot was submitted incorrectly and the Koru is contacting the voter privately to inform them that their ballot was submitted incorrectly.”
- Part 7 be amended to state “The Koru shall publish the results of the general election or snap election, alongside the total number of valid ballots and voided ballots, at their earliest convenience once a general election or a by-election has concluded.”
