PREAMBLE
EXPRESSING the collective ambition of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium abroad to initiate bilateral diplomatic relations,
GUIDED BY the treaty of mutual recognition in serving as the basis of future relations between both nations,
AWARE OF the capacity of the treaty to be nullified in case of dissolution or inability to maintain future relations by either nation,
Signed into agreement at BARIA, the HOKORIAN STATE, this agreement is hereby enacted on the 1st November 2024.
CHAPTER 1- TERRITORY AND SOVEREIGNTY
Part 1- Recognition
- The Hokorian State shall recognise the sovereignty of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium.
- The Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall recognise the sovereignty of the Hokorian State.
- The territories held and claimed by the Hokorian State shall be recognised by the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium as that of the Hokorian State.
- The territories held and claimed by the Grand Republic of Cycoldia shall be recognised by the Hokorian State as that of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia.
- The territories held and claimed by the members and partial members of the Cycoldian Imperium shall be recognised by the Hokorian State as that of the Cycoldian Imperium and her members and partial members.
CHAPTER 2- PEOPLES
Part 1- Designation
- The people of the Hokorian State shall be designated as Hokorians by the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium.
- The people of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall be recognised as Cycoldians by the Hokorian State.
Part 2- Allowance of joint nationality
- The people of the Hokorian State shall not be restricted by their existing status as a national in the Hokorian State when seeking nationality in the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium.
- The people of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall not be restricted by their existing status as a national in the Grand Republic of Cycoldia when seeking nationality in the Hokorian State.
CHAPTER 3- INFORMATION, SERVICES AND DOCUMENTS
Part 1- Sharing of information
- The Hokorian State shall cooperate with information requests by the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, where the request relates to a joint-national of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium and where the request does not infringe upon the joint-national’s rights according to Hokorian law.
- The Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall cooperate with information requests by the Hokorian State, where the request relates to a joint-national of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium and where the request does not infringe upon the joint-national’s rights according to Cycoldian law.
Part 2- Recognition of documents
- The Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall recognise documents issued by the Hokorian State, including but not limited to;
- Passports and other identification documents.
- Certificates of birth, death, adoption, care, name change, gender identity change.
- Documents confirming Hokorian nationality.
- The Hokorian State shall recognise documents issued by the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, including but not limited to;
- Passports and other identification documents.
- Certificates of birth, death, adoption, care, name change, gender identity change.
- Documents confirming Cycoldian nationality.
Part 3- Diplomatic services
- The Hokorian State shall be allowed to provide diplomatic services for people of the Hokorian State within the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, where possible and even where a person is a joint-national of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium.
- The Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall be allowed to provide diplomatic services for people of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, where possible and even where a person is a joint-national of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium.
- In cases of disputes between parties regarding diplomatic services and assistance for joint-nationals, the party of the non-host nation shall assist and work for the purposes of the assistance to joint-nationals with diplomatic services.
- A joint-national of the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium shall not be allowed to utilise diplomatic services in a way that may prevent arrest for crimes in the host nation.
CHAPTER 4- TRADE
Part 1- Engagement in trade
- Businesses and organisations of both the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium may engage with each other in trade, without restriction, except where stated elsewhere in the laws of the Hokorian State or the laws of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia.
- No additional taxes or other kind of tariff may be placed on goods traded between the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, for the reason of it originating from the other party.
- Free trade may be suspended by either the Hokorian State and the Grand Republic of Cycoldia and its Imperium, and resumed under mutual agreement by both parties.
