An Order to amend the Constitution of the Hokorian State to ensure that national security, integrity and the dignity of the State is not violated through information requests and to give Members of the Assembly the right to communciate freely with public officials and the authorities.

ENACTED by the Koru of the Hokorian State under the Constitution of the Hokorian State.

Part I- Preliminary

Section 1- Short title

  1. This Order may be cited as the Information and Requests Amendment Order, 2026.

Section 2- Commencement

  1. This Order shall come into force immediately.

Section 3- Interpretation

  1. “Constitution” means the Constitution of the Hokorian State.

Part II- Amendments

Section 4- Amendments

  1. Section 11.3 of the Constitution is hereby amended to state “Every Hokorian shall have the right to obtain access to documents and recordings held by the Government, the Koru’s Office, and the Assembly. This right may be limited where disclosure would risk national security, public order, or the dignity of the State, except where access is otherwise permitted by law or is directed by the Koru of the Hokorian State”;
  2. Section 11.4 of the Constitution is hereby removed;
  3. Section 27.11 of the Constitution is hereby created to state “Members of the Assembly have the right, in the performance of their duties, to communicate freely with the Government, the Koru’s Office, the Assembly, any public official, and any other public body without hindrance or interference.”.
