An Order to appoint individuals to honours as part of the Koru’s New Years Honours.
ENACTED by the Koru of the Hokorian State under the Constitution of the Hokorian State.
Part I- Preliminary
Section 1- Short title
- This Order may be cited as the New Year Honours Order, 2026.
Section 2- Commencement
- This Order shall come into force at 01:00 on January 1, 2026, Serenia time.
Section 3- Interpretation
- “State” means the Hokorian State;
- “Koru” means the Koru of the Hokorian State;
- “Honour” means any honour, dignity, decoration, order, medal or distinction recognised by the State;
- “Register” means the Register of State Honours and Dignities maintained by the Koru’s Office.
Part II- Establishment of the New Year Honours
Section 4- Establishment of the Honours List
- The New Year Honours List for the year 2026 is hereby proclaimed.
- The persons named in Part III are hereby appointed to the honours specified.
Section 5- Legal effect
- Appointments made under this Order shall-
- Confer the styles and post-nominals specified for each honour;
- Insert each recipient into the Order of Precedence of the Hokorian State;
- Be entered into the Register.
Part III- Honours Appointments
Section 6- Order of the Star of Hokoria
- Grand Companion of the Order of the Star of Hokoria (GCStH)-
- Sakura Walsh of Galway, Ireland- for their services to the State since 2022 as the longest serving official of the Government and its predecessor institutions;
- Christopher Slant of Serenia, Hokoria- for his services to the State as Prime Minister and for his efforts in bridging the gap between the English speaking and Chinese speaking communities.
- Companion of the Order of the Star of Hokoria (CStH)-
- Arōnis nan Rūvas of Dalriada, Kaltarzia- for restoring the monarchist system within the Hokorian State and establishing the titles used by the Koru to this day;
- Aurora d’Orléans of London, England- for her services as the first Speaker of the Hokorian Assembly and for your work in establishing the Court of the Star Chamber and the High Court of Justice.
Section 7- Order of Foreign Service
- Officer of the Order of Foreign Service (OFS)-
- Kevon Burnett of Maryland, United States- for his efforts as the Prime Minister of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia in attempting to restore ties between the Cycoldian Imperium and the Hokorian State;
- Asa Ward of South City, Curnon- for his efforts as the Grand Premier of the Unitary Republic of Curnon in founding a space of inclusivity and diverse cultures and for his work in founding the International Union of Cooperation and Communities;
- Jasmine Iaponius-Centaurus of Core, Gunaka Proper- for her and the Kingdom of Gunaka’s longlasting support for the Hokorian State;
- Rowan Mintz of Topothesia, Arbores, for their work in founding the International Union of Cooperation and Communities;
- Dan Pierce of Abelland, Bushistan- for his work in founding the International Union of Cooperation and Communities.
Part IV- Investiture
Section 9- Investiture ceremonies
- Investiture shall be conducted at such time and place as the Koru may appoint.
- Failure to attend investiture shall not affect the legal validity of any appointment.
Part V- Miscellaneous
Section 10- Publication
- This Order shall be recorded and published by the Koru’s Office.
