Speaker Involvement Amendment Order

A constitutional order to amend the Constitution of the Hokorian State to allow the Speaker to participate directly in Assembly affairs under specific circumstances.

ENACTED by the Koru of the Hokorian State under the Constitution of the Hokorian State.

Part I- Preliminary

Section 1- Short title

  1. This Order may be cited as the Speaker Involvement Amendment Order.

Section 2- Commencement

  1. This Order shall come into force at 01:20 on September 29, 2025, at the local time of the Koru.

Section 3- Interpretation

  1. “Constitution” means the Constitution of the Hokorian State.

Part II- Amendments

Section 4- Speaker

  1. “The Speaker of the Assembly shall not participate in debate and shall not advocate for or against any motion, bill or resolution of the Assembly” shall be replaced with “The Speaker of the Assembly shall not advocate for or against any motion, bill or resolution of the Assembly, except for their own, and shall only participate in debate with the Koru’s consent”.
