A constitutional order to amend the Constitution of the Hokorian State to restructure and to reword parts relating to Provinces and citizenship.
ENACTED by the Koru of the Hokorian State under the Constitution of the Hokorian State.
Part I- Preliminary
Section 1- Short title
- This Order may be cited as the Structure, Provinces and Citizenship Amendment Order.
Section 2- Commencement
- This Order shall come into force at midnight on September 20, 2025, at the local time of the Koru.
Section 3- Interpretation
- “Constitution” means the Constitution of the Hokorian State.
Part II- Amendments
Section 4- Articles and Sections
- The Articles in the Constitution shall be replaced by Parts, ascending in roman numerals from I.
- The Sections in the Constitution shall continue to ascend throughout the whole Constitution, not restarting per Article.
Section 5- Provinces
- “The Koru may establish, amend and dissolve Provinces of the Hokorian State through issuing a Constitutional order” shall be replaced with “The Koru may establish, amend and dissolve Provinces of the Hokorian State through issuing a Constitutional order, subject to restrictions under law”.
Section 6- Citizenship
- Article 1 Section 3 shall be retitled to “Citizenship”.
- “Hokorian national” and “National” shall be replaced with “Hokorian” throughout the Constitution.
- “Hokorian nationality” shall be replaced with “Hokorian citizenship”.
- “Every person shall have the right to access documents and recordings written by and in the possession of the authorities” shall be replaced with “Every Hokorian shall have the right to access documents and recordings written by and in the possession of the authorities”.
- “No person shall be prevented from accessing documents and recordings written by and in the possession of the authorities without a reason deemed acceptable through law” shall be replaced with “No Hokorian shall be prevented from accessing documents and recordings written by and in the possession of the authorities without a reason deemed acceptable through law”.
- “Every person shall have the right to own property” shall be replaced with “Every Hokorian shall have the right to own property”.
- “Every person shall have the right to earn their livelihood through employment, occupation and commercial activity of their choice” shall be replaced with “Every Hokorian shall have the right to earn their livelihood through employment, occupation and commercial activity of their choice”.
- “Every person shall have the right to have food, water and shelter” shall be replaced with “Every Hokorian shall have the right to have food, water and shelter”.
- “Every person shall have the right to basic education, free of charge as specified further through law” shall be replaced with “Every Hokorian shall have the right to basic education, free of charge as specified further through law”.
