Article 1- Gender recognition

Section 1- Change of legally recognised gender

  1. All Hokorian nationals may apply to the Government to change the legally recognised sex, recorded by Government documents, which-
    1. shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration by the aforementioned national- [and]
      • and shall affirm themselves as being male, female or another gender identity
    2. shall not be limited by medical nor psychological assessment [and]
    3. shall be assessed by an Official, who hold the rights to approve or reject the application [and]
    4. upon approval, will result in the issuance of a Certificate reflecting the applicant’s affirmed gender

Article 2- Anti-discrimination

Section 1- General provisions

  1. It is deemed unlawful to discriminate against a person, directly or indirectly, on the basis of their gender identity or gender expression, including-
    1. refusing or hindering employment, including recruitment, hiring, promotion, training, conditions of work, and termination of employment [and]
    2. refusing to provide housing, including the sale, rental, or provision of accommodation [and]
    3. refusing or hindering public accommodations, including access to and the provision of goods, services, and facilities [and]
    4. refusing or hindering education, including enrolment, participation in activities, and the provision of educational services [and]
    5. refusing or hindering healthcare, including access to medical treatment and services [and]
    6. refusing or hindering the provision of credit, loans, insurance, and other financial services [and]
    7. harassing or carrying out acts of violence, verbally or physically abusing one

Section 2- Hate crime

  1. Offences committed because of, or motivated by, one’s gender identity or gender expression will be considered a hate crime
