Article 1- Gender recognition
Section 1- Change of legally recognised gender
- All Hokorian nationals may apply to the Government to change the legally recognised sex, recorded by Government documents, which-
- shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration by the aforementioned national- [and]
- and shall affirm themselves as being male, female or another gender identity
- shall not be limited by medical nor psychological assessment [and]
- shall be assessed by an Official, who hold the rights to approve or reject the application [and]
- upon approval, will result in the issuance of a Certificate reflecting the applicant’s affirmed gender
- shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration by the aforementioned national- [and]
Article 2- Anti-discrimination
Section 1- General provisions
- It is deemed unlawful to discriminate against a person, directly or indirectly, on the basis of their gender identity or gender expression, including-
- refusing or hindering employment, including recruitment, hiring, promotion, training, conditions of work, and termination of employment [and]
- refusing to provide housing, including the sale, rental, or provision of accommodation [and]
- refusing or hindering public accommodations, including access to and the provision of goods, services, and facilities [and]
- refusing or hindering education, including enrolment, participation in activities, and the provision of educational services [and]
- refusing or hindering healthcare, including access to medical treatment and services [and]
- refusing or hindering the provision of credit, loans, insurance, and other financial services [and]
- harassing or carrying out acts of violence, verbally or physically abusing one
Section 2- Hate crime
- Offences committed because of, or motivated by, one’s gender identity or gender expression will be considered a hate crime
